Nervous-System Aware Training for Families, Schools, Workplaces & Couples
Coming January 2026
On-demand video trainings that help you understand the nervous system, neurodivergence, anxiety and trauma — so you can create safer, more connected homes, classrooms, workplaces and relationships.
Why “Uncomfortably Comfy” Trainings?
Get comfortable with what feels uncomfortable — so real change can happen.
Most of us were never taught how our nervous system works, what neurodivergence actually means in day-to-day life, or how trauma and anxiety show up in our relationships, schools, and workplaces.
Uncomfortably Comfy trainings are designed to be:
Nervous-system informed – grounded in how real human bodies respond to stress and safety.
Neurodivergence-affirming – honoring different brains and sensory needs, not trying to “fix” them.
Shame-sensitive – no pathologizing, no “you’re doing it wrong,” just real talk and practical tools.
Relationship-focused – whether it’s a family, a team, a classroom, or a couple, the relationship is the client.
Each series includes short, digestible video lessons, reflection prompts, and concrete practices you can start using right away.
How the Trainings Work

Module 1 – Your Nervous System
In this module, we introduce the nervous system, the window of tolerance, and why fight/flight/freeze/fawn responses are normal human reactions — not personal failures.
Reflection prompts:
- What does your “I’m getting overwhelmed” signal feel like in your body?
- Which situations with your child / partner / students / team tend to push you out of your window of tolerance?
- What’s one small regulation tool you’re willing to experiment with this week?
