Welcome To
Uncomfortably Comfy Couch
You’re welcome here—exactly as you are. Uncomfortably Comfy is a therapy space built on safety, compassion, and real connection. We offer **neuro-affirming, identity-honoring care** where you don’t have to mask, perform, or “have it all together” to be supported.
What “Uncomfortably Comfy” Means
Change can be tender. Even when something isn’t working—old roles, coping habits, relationship cycles—it can still feel familiar, and familiar can feel safe.
Uncomfortably Comfy is the place where comfort and growth meet. Where we honor what has helped you survive, while gently making room for what helps you thrive. That might mean building new ways to regulate, communicate, set boundaries, repair, and come back to yourself—one small, steady step at a time.
Our Vision
We offer in-person and telehealth therapy, thoughtfully tailored to your needs. We’re here to walk alongside individuals, teens, couples, neurodivergent folks, and families—and to be a supportive part of the community through accessible resources, education, and outreach.
If you’re longing for a space that feels both steady *and* honest, you’re in the right place.
Hard Topics in a Safe Place
ADHD & Neurodivergent Therapy
If you or your teen has ADHD—or you’ve always felt a little “out of sync”—you’re not alone. Living in a world that isn’t built for your brain can be exhausting, isolating, and confusing (especially if you’ve spent years masking or being told to “just try harder”).
We offer neuro-affirming, strengths-based therapy for teens and adults with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence. Together, we’ll build practical tools for focus, emotional regulation, relationships, and overwhelm—while honoring the creativity, sensitivity, and insight that often come with a neurodivergent brain.
Curious if you might be neurodivergent? Many people are exploring ADHD and autism diagnoses in adulthood—even in their 40s and beyond. This is a safe place to start. Learn more.. Learn more..
